Father’s Day is just around the corner, and it is amazing just how many leather goods make great father’s day gifts. While this list is by no means comprehensive, it does contain a wide variety of awesome gifts for dad. Not only that, but we tried to pull these items from a variety of suppliers, so even if the product we highlight doesn’t seem right, maybe something else in their store will feel like it fits. As always, if you are still stumped for gift ideas after reading this whole thing, feel free to reach out to us and we will brainstorm together until we find something!
You’ll also notice that I’m not listing any Amazon products. You can find leather goods on Amazon, but the quality is very hit and miss, and I would rather support smaller craftsmen and companies rather than padding Bezos’ wallet more.
With that, we’ll just jump into the list, starting at the lowest price and working our way up!
Colors: Natural, Black, Brown, Green, Blue
Price: $22.21 (currently $19.99)
This one isn’t too complicated. This razor holder is handmade in the US and fits most razors. Because this thing is high-quality full-grain leather and comes with a lifetime worry, you can say goodbye to awkwardly wrapping your razors in toilet paper or plastic bags forever!

This entire list could be made up of wallets, and there would still be plenty of great ones that went unlisted. I chose this one because it is:
1. High-quality top grain leather
2. Fairly Affordable
3. From a cool company
This is the classic bifold wallet. While minimalist wallets have been growing in popularity, the bifold style still has a lot of advantages. They’ve been the standard for decades for a reason, primarily because they have a great capacity to size ratio.
This wallet is no different, with nine card slots and two separate full-width money pouches.
Kodiak leather does have a few minimalist wallets, as well as bulkier checkbook wallets. However, most of them are more expensive, so I chose this one for the sheer value for the price.
*It’s also worth noting that Kodiak leather is running a Father’s Day sale for 20% off everything. It isn’t leather, but they also have canvas duffle bags 50% off with the code CANVAS50

It has been tradition in my family to get dad a new pair of gloves for Father’s Day for many years. While there are plenty of mass-produced gloves like these ones you can buy for cheaper, I think you get a higher quality and a longer-lasting gloves when you go with the handmade variety. It also helps that these are made of buffalo leather, which is an insanely durable type of leather.
The guy that makes these has sold more than 1200 pairs and has a perfect 5-star rating, so you know they have to be pretty good. These are the uninsulated version, which makes them a better summer work glove.
Colors: Black, American Saddle, Cognac, Tan
Price: $66.65 (Currently $59.99)
Much like wallets, there are a million really good belts out there. The best belts are essentially just strips of good leather, which is what this one is. The reason I picked it over all the other belts out there is because it comes with a few perks that some don’t, most importantly:
- A lifetime warranty
- Personalization options (name/initials)
- Gift wrapping
- A removable belt buckle so you can replace it with your own
- Simple sizing
- An affordable price
The other belt that might come to mind for longtime leather fans would be the Old Bull Belt from Saddleback Leather. While that is also a great belt, and I did consider it for the list, I feel like it doesn’t offer anything that this belt doesn’t, but it costs around $30 more. I feel like you end up paying more for roughly the same thing.
Removable belt buckle
Easy sizing based on pant size
Colors: Cognac, Natural, Brown, Black, Green, Blue
Price: $91.10 (Currently $81.99)
This is a nice medium priced option that is useful for a lot of people. Anyone who travels has need for a toiletry bag, and having a leather one that can stay nice for the rest of your life is a seemingly small thing that brings a major quality of life change. I think this is a subtle gift that doesn’t seem very flashy, but is so helpful and has a lasting impact, where anytime the recipient goes anywhere, they think of you and remember the gift you gave them.
This is one of the most famous offerings of Lifetime Leather. The lifetime warranty is pretty important, since it lets you know that you are giving a gift that they can use forever. They also have several different styles of bag, including side pockets, and different sizes.
The last important piece on this gift idea is that it can be personalized. The personalization looks nice and adds a thoughtful touch to the gift.

This is the point where we reach more unique items on the list. Most people think of aprons as kitchenwear, but a leather apron as sturdy as this has uses beyond just making brownies (though it is great for that too). An apron like this can be used to protect both your clothing and your body during activities like blacksmithing, woodworking, metalworking, and grilling. Because leather is so naturally flame resistant, this is really great for any situation that involves fire, embers, and sparks. The same goes for puncture risks. Leather isn’t easily pierced, ripped, or torn, so a leather apron offers significant protection, while also looking super cool.
There is also a cross-body variant that covers your back as well, just in case you need full body protection or just think it looks better.

Much like wallets and belts, there are a lot of great messenger/laptop bags out there. We chose this one out of all the available options for a few reasons.
First, it is well made and very reasonably priced. High end leather laptop bags are almost always in the $150-$200 range or so, but can easily work their way up to $600+. This one falls at the lower end of the usual range while still being very well made.
Second, it is from a website called Vintage Gentlemen. We haven’t featured anything from them yet, and while most of their stuff isn’t leather, they have a lot of other good manly gifts like knives, whiskey, grooming equipment, etc. We are only talking about a leather good here, but you can check out their store if you need more Father’s Day gift ideas.
And third, it meets all the requirements of a good laptop bag without getting too overcomplicated. For me those requirements are an adjustable shoulder strap, a top handle, a secure clasp, and a variety of inner pockets for organization.
Length: 16.5 inches; Height: 11 inches; Width: 3.5 inches
Shoulder Strap(Adjustable): 39.3 inches
Handle Height: 2.4 inches;

A duffle bag or some luggage is definitely a more expensive Father’s Day gift, and definitely won’t be for everyone. And when it comes to leather goods, Saddleback is almost always one of the most expensive options. However, they do make very good products, if you have the budget for them.
I chose this bag in particular because it serves the basic purpose of a duffle bag well and is one of the more affordable options, especially from Saddleback.
The question most people have is whether Saddleback goods are worth the extra cost. In the end that is up to you, but the big thing that really differentiates them from many other bags is the lack of seams. Individual pieces of leather rarely wear out. What wears out is the stitching that holds the leather pieces together. Saddleback has fewer seams, and thus fewer places to wear out. Because they use so much thick leather, their bags are often quite heavy, with this one weighing in at five and a half pounds. For some that is a downside, but it does contribute to the lifespan of the bag.
This bag will last a lifetime and would make a great gift for a traveling man. But there is a wide collection of duffels and luggage available that you can view as well.
